A Collabstr alternative for YouTube sponsorships
By the Sponmi team · Updated
If you mainly sponsor YouTube creators and do not want a monthly plan, Sponmi is an alternative to Collabstr: there is no subscription, you pay the package price plus a 5.5% service fee, and the creator is paid only after Sponmi confirms the final step. Collabstr covers Instagram, TikTok and YouTube; on 27 October 2026 its pricing page listed a 10% hiring fee on the free plan and paid plans from US$249 a month.

What does a first order cost on each?
Take a US$500 package. On Sponmi you pay US$527.50 (US$500 plus the 5.5% service fee) and no plan. On Collabstr's free plan the 10% hiring fee makes it US$550; the 5% fee needs the Premium plan, which its pricing page listed at US$333 a month billed annually.
Creators set their own prices on both, so compare the same kind of package rather than the headline fee.
When is Collabstr the better fit?
- Most of your budget goes to Instagram or TikTok posts.
- You want UGC videos you post on your own accounts rather than sponsored posts on the creator's channel.
- You need team seats, sub-accounts or white-label reports for several brands.
When is Sponmi the better fit?
- You sponsor YouTube videos and Shorts and want to approve the script or storyboard before filming.
- You order now and then and do not want to pay for a monthly plan.
- You want ad-usage rights priced in the package, or to license a video that has already performed.
- You pay in US dollars from any country, with Sponmi checking each step against your order.
How does payment work on Sponmi?
- You order a package or send an offer. Nothing is charged until the creator accepts.
- You pay on the order page and answer the creator's questions, if any.
- You approve each agreed step. With no feedback for 72 hours, Sponmi checks the step against your order and confirms it.
- Sponmi confirms the final step and the creator is paid. If the creator does not deliver, they are not paid, and a cancelled order is refunded to the payment method you used.
Is a product seeding or review campaign an alternative?
Seeding and review programmes send a product in exchange for an honest review, usually without a fixed script, posting date or reach. Sponmi is not one of those: you pay for a defined sponsored post with agreed steps, a posting period and an ad label. Use seeding for volume of reviews; use a paid sponsorship when you need a specific message on a specific channel.
